3M™ Hot Melt Adhesives liquefy when heated, quickly filling gaps and wetting the bonding surface. Applied to only one surface, they cool, harden, and reach bond strength in seconds. You can move assemblies immediately and eliminate clamps, fixturing, and drying time and energy. Each adhesive is engineered for efficient application with an easy-to-use 3M portable applicator. Unlike mechanical fasteners and sealing tapes, hot melt adhesive is virtually invisible between the mating surfaces. Easily secure wires to resist strain and breakage. Attaches components on printed circuit boards to add stability during assembly, shipping, and end use. Quick-setting for potting even at great depth, terminate coils, cable strain relief, and bundle wires for convenient handling.
