Entry+ Modules XM123 and XM124

Acconeer's Entry+ Module XM123 is designed only for people presence and motion detection, and only sparse service is provided, while the Entry+ Module XM124 is optimized for both of those applications as well as parking space occupancy detection and level measurement (for example: in tanks or waste containers). These modules are optimized for easy integration with land grid array (LGA) solder pad support, a small form-factor of 18.6 mm by 15 mm, and single-supply operating voltage of 1.8 V. They are delivered with a bootloader which enables the customer to download the Acconeer radar system software (RSS) software as well as the software development kit (SDK) for standalone usage where the customer can embed their application on top of RSS software. The RSS software provides the API to set the A111 sensor configuration and retrieve supported radar services and detector data. The RSS enables interfacing through an external host using a register command protocol over UART and I²C.

Each Entry+ Module pairs with an evaluation board (XE123 for Entry+ Module XM123, XE124 for Entry+ Module XM124). Each is soldered on a breakout board to enable easy access of flashing, debugging, and easy access to all interfaces provided. They support universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter (UART) communications over USB.
