The unique construction of the rectangular cross section of the inductor provides better performance and offers manufacturing advantages over toroidal coils.

Air core inductors offer an inductance range from 1.65 nH to 538 nH while square core inductors offer an inductance range from 5.5 nH to 27.3 nH.
