PW Series UL94-5VA High Flammability Rated ABS Enclosures

Bud's PW series multi-purpose enclosures are relatively small but offer a variety of options and flexibility to meet a variety of requirements for applications. While users often have to settle for a traditional squared-off box, these offer rounded high style corners. Another unique feature is that they have a high flammability rating (UL94-5VA) for a box of this type. This means that the customer can rest assured that this small box can stand up to some very serious conditions in protecting the equipment.

Bud's PW series is molded of quality ABS plastic that is flame-retardant rated as both UL94-V0 and UL94-5VA. It consists of a body and a screw-down cover. Four mounting bosses simplify PCB installation. The smooth cover models are ideal for UV-cured full-color digital printing. The series is molded in five sizes (7.25" x 5" x 2.22", 6" x 4.38" x 1.97", 4" x 4" x 1.85", 5.25" x 3.75" x 1.97", and 4.5" x 3.38" x 1.85") and in four variations of each of the five sizes [cover has a smooth surface, no mounting flanges (models with no suffix), cover has a smooth surface, comes with mounting flanges (models ending in MB), cover has mar-resistant textured surface, no mounting flanges (models ending in T), and cover has mar-resistant textured surface, comes with mounting flanges (models ending in TMB)].
