RM1E Solid State Relay Series

Carlo Gavazzi’s RM1E series analog switching relay operates according to the phase angle control principle. In other words, the output switching point in the AC sine wave depends on the control input. This phase-angle switching series can be operated by either a 4 mA to 20 mA or a 0 V_DC to 10 V_DC input. For example, 4 mA or 0 V_DC would correspond to zero output power, while 20 mA or 10 V_DC corresponds to full output power (a near-linear power response). The relay switches OFF every time the output current crosses zero, and switches ON in accordance with the applied control input. The microcontroller-based design allows for reliable linear power control from 0% to 99%.
