Image of EPSON SG-8201 Series Programmable OscillatorsThe Epson SG-8201CJ and SG-8201CG low-jitter programmable crystal oscillators provide CMOS output from 1.2 MHz to 170 MHz. Users can program any frequency within this range to six decimal places of accuracy. The series also features an extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The SG-8201 product provides tight frequency stability of ±15 ppm from -40°C to +105°C or ±25 ppm from -40°C to +125°C. The SG-8201 series will be available in “CJ” 2.0 mm x 1.6 mm and “CG” 2.5 mm x 2.0 mm package sizes. These products dramatically decrease phase noise and jitter. Phase noise is improved by about 30 dBc/Hz at offset frequency from 100 kHz to 1MHz. Phase jitter is 1.1 ps typical (fo=125 MHz), about 1/40th of currently existing programmable products.
