ATEX-Certified Fans

Orion Fans’ ATEX-certified fans are designed for harsh AC applications involving explosive atmospheres or flammable gases. Ideal for Zone 2 equipment, the implementation of spark-proof ATEX fans into a design eliminates the possibility of an explosion or fire. These fans also carry an IP68 rating making them well suited for a broad range of applications including oil and gas, commercial and process control, refrigeration, appliances, HVAC, electronic enclosures, and cabinets.

Available in a range of sizes including 60 mm, 120 mm, and 172 mm, some of these ATEX-certified fans are available with a universal voltage range. By maintaining the same interface between the fan and equipment, these fans can be used as drop-in replacements for equivalent-sized AC fans.
