QPQ4701 BAWplexer for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi® Coexistence

The Qorvo QPQ4701 is a high-power BAW-based diplexer (BAWplexer) designed to support simultaneous 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi operation using a single antenna. It integrates a 2.4 GHz bandpass filter with strong near band rejection and a low-loss 5 GHz bandpass covering U NII 1 through U NII 3, addressing coexistence challenges in dense RF environments.

The 2.4 GHz signal path incorporates the Qorvo coexBoost™ technology to provide high rejection of nearby LTE and 5G bands, including LTE B7, B38, B40, and B41. This reduces desensitization caused by high-power cellular transmitters operating near the Wi-Fi band. The 5 GHz path uses bandBoost™ techniques to maintain low insertion loss while supporting wide bandwidth operation across U NII channels.

Designed for thermally and electrically demanding applications, the QPQ4701 supports high average input power levels and operates over an extended temperature range. The device is packaged in a compact laminate module, which simplifies RF layout and eliminates the need for discrete filter matching between diplexer sections.
