The DP series of three-phase monitoring relays, from Carlo Gavazzi, detect changes to incoming three-phase power and alert users to problems before they can cause damage to motors or machinery. These three-phase monitors can detect if the phase sequence is reversed, or if any phase is imbalanced or missing. A phase reversal can force a motor to reverse direction, leading to possible catastrophic problems. An imbalanced phase can cause excessive vibrations, potentially reducing the lifetime of motors and equipment. And a loss of one phase can introduce stress on a motor and/or limit its capabilities. These monitoring relays detect three-phase ranges from 208 volts-AC to 690 volts-AC. They feature power supply self-measurement and adjustable set points and output delay time.
