FH62 Series FPC Connector | Datasheet Preview

Hirose's FH62 series are compact, flexible printed circuit, or FPC, connectors with a single-action lock that is designed for automatic assembly. Conventional connection methods require opening the actuator, inserting the FPC, and closing the actuator. However, with One Action FH, only FPC/FFC insertion is needed to complete the connection. Locking is completed at the same time as the FPC/FFC insertion, so incomplete mating does not occur. The notches on both sides of the FPC are held by the lock lever, generating a high FPC retention force in spite of the small size. In addition to simplifying assembly, the space-saving FH62 series FPC connector also simplifies the design process by supporting USB 3.0, embedded DisplayPort ver1.3, and MIPI D-PHY ver1.1 standards. The connector enables a reduction in the size of consumer, medical, point-of-sale, and other electronic devices.
