JAE’s Memory Module connectors are new alternatives for PCIe and half-mini cards and connectors. A small size card edge connector for mobile devices, they have significant space-savings compared to previous technologies in both board space and height. The MM60 series is compatible with the PCI Express Mini Card Electromechanical Specification and can be used for connecting with modules that use PCIe and USB communication. They have a standard interface for solid state drives and various wireless cards supporting Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, GNSS, and WWAN. A stand-off nut provides a secure method to keep the card in place after assembly to the connector. A retention latch is available for the MM60 series to fix the module to the connector.
