FZSTB001 Solder Test Board

Feztek's FZSTB001 solder test board is designed to test the fundamental solder skills of an individual. This industry-standard test is composed of four sections including through-hole resistors, chip resistors (1206 to 0201), a 555 circuit, and a 5 mm x 5 mm QFN 32 package. The kit challenges the users' attention to detail, ability to read silkscreens, and overall efficiency of soldering. The exposed solder pads measure continuity and resistance to verify there are no bridges and that resistors are soldered down completely.

The test board has a quick-check feature so users can plug it in and if the LEDs blink correctly, then the individual has tested proficient enough to work on their own projects and has demonstrated that they can identify components and their correct orientations. Companies also use the FZSTB001 as an interview test for solder technicians.
