With the recent increases in demand for smaller and thinner sized PC related equipment and servers, there are also growing demand for smaller and lower height capacitors. These will not only to be used in the secondary side but also the primary side of power supplies. To meet such demands, we have launched the PSG series for primary side of power supplies. Compared with the conventional PSF series, the PSG series have been downsized by 1 rank (ex. downsized from φ8 mm to φ 6.3 mm). The PSG series ensure high reliability and durability than the conventional products even in smaller size by using a new, high capacitance electrode foil, new conductive polymer materials to heighten withstand voltage, and also by improving its separator. The PSG series will contribute in downsizing and making digital information equipment even thinner.
