ADT7422 | Datasheet Preview
This 16-bit I2C temperature sensor is rated for operation from minus 40 degrees Celsius to 125 degrees Celsius. When operating at 3 volts, the average supply current is typically 210 micro amps. This IC also features a shutdown mode which allows for a typical shutdown current of 2 micro amps at 3 volts. It offers a simple implementation, meaning no temperature calibration or correction is required, and no linearity correction is required either. Ideal applications include food transportation and storage; laser diode temperature control; vital signs monitoring, glucose meters and incubators for the healthcare industry; as well as instrumentation applications including cold junction compensation for thermocouples.
