Network processors are already requiring adaptive voltage power supply methods with multiple supply rails which are sequenced and slew rate controlled. This device has the interface to connect directly to the power supply for dynamic control, in fact it will not work properly without continuous communications and control of the power system to modulate not only the eight rails required by the processor itself, it also controls other power supply rails for memory, I/O and other system functions.
