Susumu has been offering innovative thin-film resistors and networks for all segments of the electronic industry since 1964. Susumu’s thin-film resistors, which are highly precise and reliable, are known to have low noise and superb high-frequency performance. This is because Skin effect does not affect thin film whose thickness is less than 1 micrometer. Typical attenuators are π or T shaped networks of 3 resistors. For Susumu, it has been a natural progression to move from regular resistor networks to high-frequency resister networks and attenuators. In 1990 Susumu introduced its first attenuator, the PAT series which can be used up to 10GHz. They are now offering the ATS series which can function up to 30GHz.
