The OptoTEC MSX series of highly miniaturized multistage thermoelectric coolers (TECs) from Tark Thermal Solutions maximize image resolution and reduce thermal noise in CCD, CMOS, infrared, and X-ray detector applications across industrial, analytical, medical, and aerospace markets. Engineered to deliver deep, stable cooling, the MSX platform enables next-generation imaging systems to achieve higher sensitivity, lower noise, and more stable performance in tightly constrained optical packages.

- Maintains temperatures 50°C to 100°C below ambient for heat loads up to 5 W, enhancing the signal-to-noise ratio in imaging systems
- Small cold-side footprints as small as 2.0 mm x 4.0 mm and low stack heights for integration into compact optical packages
- Utilizes high-packing fraction thermoelectric elements and precision soldering to deliver up to 10x better cooling performance than standard TECs
- No moving parts, providing maintenance-free temperature stabilization from room temperature down to 180°K with no outgassing
