Newhaven EVE2 TFT Modules | DigiKey Daily
Newhaven EVE2 TFT Modules combine FTDI’s EVE2 graphics controller IC with a range of Newhaven displays, providing an all-in-one HMI for graphics, touch control, and audio playback. Modules are available with screen sizes from 3.5” to 7.0” in Newhaven’s standard, premium, or sunlight-readable variants, with options for resistive or capacitive touch and touch tag support. The modules offer a SPI interface, including dual and quad SPI, with FFC and IDC 20-pin industry standard interfaces. The displays support multiple image formats, widgets, audio synthesization and playback, and video playback, with 1 MB of onboard graphics memory so no frame buffer is needed. Newhaven EVE2 TFT modules also have an onboard LED backlight driver that never compromises brightness and offers PWM backlight control.
