RF Switch Connectors Slide 7

A typical application for the SWD miniaturized switch connector is shown here.  The connector is located adjacent to the antenna terminal to facilitate functional testing and evaluation of a wireless device (cellphone, PDA, or other similar equipment).  When used with the appropriate test probe, the switch connector provides a convenient test point to validate the quality of the signal provided to the antenna.
