The reduced size will help satisfy the customers’ ceaseless pursuit of smaller component solutions. The MEU1 series exhibits higher efficiency across the full load range, which is characteristic of the ME series topology. Typical improvement is 6% when compared to comparable competitive products. Higher efficiency yield lower system power consumption with the collateral benefits of higher reliability, lower operating costs, and simplified thermal management. The MEU1’s superior load response is also characteristic of the ME topology, typically 2% - 3% better than competitive series. With a well-regulated input source, the MEU1’s load response can enable elimination of post-regulation circuitry for loads with tighter voltage tolerance.
