Because of the large number of competitors in this product market, space and time preclude a complete delineation of all competitive products and the performance specifications. Shown here and on the next few slides tables comparing three of the key performance parameters for the MEU1 models, and those of four of the most prominent competitor’s comparable models. These four competitors are those most commonly encountered in the global marketplace for products of this type. On this slide the models with 3.3V and 5V outputs of the MEU1’s efficiency is better than most and that the load regulation and output noise is superior to all competitive models by far. In the case of the Comp. 3 models, they specify load regulation from 20% of rated load, while Murata and all other competitors specify it from 10% load. This is nothing more than a pretense to reduce the magnitude of the true output variation to make the product appear better than it truly is.
