The open frame design has pin mount connections for PCB mount applications. The TPP 15A-D is packaged in a compact 1.5 x 1.0 inch footprint and a low 0.82 inch profile while the TPP 30A-D measures only 2.74 x 1.36 x 0.95 inches. These small sizes result in a higher power density product that takes up less space on the end product’s printed circuit board thus allowing the designer to build a smaller product or have more room to add additional feature sets.
