This slide focuses on the features that are required for power supplies used in medical equipment. As previously mentioned the TPP 15/30A-D range has global safety approvals that include IEC, EN and ES 60601-1 3rd Edition as well as a risk management file per ISO 14971. The units provide an input to output isolation of 4,000VAC and 2x MOPP insulation. Coupled with a leakage current of less than 75µA and fusing of both the line and neutral input connections, this series meets all requirements for medical equipment and is suitable for body floating (BF) applications where the device may come into contact with a patient.
