The SiP32429/19 series is a family of current-limit load switches that provide full protection to systems and loads from excess current conditions. The current limit is 0.75 A to 3.0 A and it can work with an input bus of 6 V to 28 V. The device has a programmable slew rate controlled N-channel MOSFET to prevent power bus disturbances caused by hot plugging or excess load demands due to a fault. Compared to a discrete solution, the SiP32429/19 offers better current limit accuracy, lower part count and can protect against thermal runaway.
