The SiP32458/9 incorporates a negative charge pump to drive the PMOS gate and keep the gate to source voltage high when turned on. This allows for a low flat Ron over the entire Vin range. The charge pump consumes very low current, so the device still has a very low quiescent current. The SiP32458 product option also includes the reverse discharge function, which is not included in either competitor’s products. Additionally, WCSP packages are prone to chipping during SMT/assembly, the SiP32458/9 has top lamination to eliminate this failure mode.
