STMicroelectronics typically addresses small area, high volume, cost-sensitive applications like handset manufacturers, tablets covering a wide frequency range, from 700 MHz to 60 GHz, which includes GSM/ISM/Bluetooth and WLAN applications. Solutions offered include coupler, low pass filters, band pass filter, diplexers/triplexers, and baluns. Any combination of the above devices can be integrated on the same die. For example, some applications might require a coupler with low pass filters or band pass filters; IPD technology allows the integration of a coupler and a low pass filter on the same die, saving PCB space and cost.
