This slide shows the details of the run mode. This mode provides normal operation of the processor and enabled peripherals, i.e., the ones that are enabled in the RCGC registers. The microcontroller actively executes code with maximum performance in this mode, and the system clock can be any of the available clock sources such as the main oscillator, precision internal oscillator, low-frequency internal oscillator, or PLL.
